Idea Data Card Setting

We are including hear Net Setter settings for airtel sim. you can see settings in images billow.and configure it in laptop or desktop for access internet. i hope it will short out your problem.

1. Open Net Setter
2. Click Option in Tool Menu
3. Then Select Profile Management
4. Click New Button in Right Side
5. Enter Profile Name is AIRTEL

6. Select Static Option in APN
7. Enter APN airtelgprs.com
8. Enter Access Number : 8080
9. Then, click advanced button in bottom Side

10.Then Submit IP Address.
11.Then Click ok and set connection as default connection

Yesterday on 06.01.2011 I have purchased an IDEA Net setter (data card) to use with laptop.

The modem is not being connected and following message is being displayed. “Error 628:The connection was terminated by the remote

computer before it could be completed.Pl.advice me the solution.

ritesh January 8, 2011 at 11:30 am: you have to cheq the sim first it is activated or not . and you have to sufficient balence in sim. other wise you have to contact the customer care for technical support.

i added all settings for airtel sim with idea net setter.on connecting shows error 678.pl.solve this problem.thanks

Hi,
I bought idea net setter and i am trying to use using Airtel sim card. As per setting provided by you click on “New” in right side (Point no. 4) is disable in my idea net setter. this indicate my net setter is not unlock ? if yes how can i unlock net setter.
