Tata DoCoMo will soon introduce 3G service in nine circles across India.
Managing director Anil Sardana, Said that. the Tata Teleservices Limited, on Wednesday said,” We have been able to complete the ramp-up of our network to support 3G services due to the superb 3G-ready network we created at the time of our 2G launch itself last year,” He has also promised that the service will be rolled out in all the nine circles by the end of this year.
It’s 26 per cent owned by Japan’s NTT DoCoMo, won rights in an auction earlier this year to offer 3G services in nine of India’s 22 designated telcom zones for 58.64 billion rupees ($1.3 billion).The operator has won in Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh-Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, UP (West), Punjab, Haryana and Maharastra circles.
