Starbucks tested Mobile payments it is coming to stores
Starbucks had tested the mobile payment service in some markets and announced that it was rolling it out to all 6,800 runing stores and more than 1,000 Starbucks in U.S.
Customers with certain BlackBerry smartphones, iPhones and iPod touch can now use those devices to make purchases at these stores.
It said that it is developing a similar service for Android devices but does not know when that will be available.
The company anticipates the program will make it easier and faster for some of its customers to make purchases.
Customers download the application for their device and use it in conjunction with their Starbucks Card.
customers can use the app to manage their Starbucks Card account, check their card balance, reload their card with any major credit card, check their My Starbucks Rewards status and find a store.
