Sony’s New Technique for Better LCD Displays
Sony has developed a new Technique. Witch allows LCD screens to respond quicker for the changes. This technology will called Hybrid FPA (field-induced photo-reactive alignment).
The technology also improves on stability through the manufacturing process.
The new system follows on from the original FPA technology, but in this case it is now able to align the crystals better with the Hybrid method.
The technique that Sony uses is built on Sony’s current FPA technique and creates a stable and even alignment of liquid crystal molecules that improves response time and contrast ratio.
The technology is not far from market and It is actually display today at IDW. We might even start seeing Hybrid FPA in the coming months in new LCD products.
We hope that sony will launch this technology soon at market.
