Palm webOS 2.0 and Pre 2 Officially Announced
The Palm Pre 2 is the first device that will be shipped with WebOS 2.0. The new version of webOS 2.0 includes multitasking, stacks, HP Synergy as well as a number of other new features to make devices that run it, easier to use.
On the side of Look. we see it has a 3.1 inch HVGA screen with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. The screen is multitouch. The device has support for Microsoft Exchange. It has GPS, Bluetooth, Wifi (b/g) and 16GB of storage inside. An accelerometer is also included with the usual array of sensors which includes a proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
Overall it looks like a similar design with a few changes along with a few enhancements inside. The main thing here looks to be the webOS 2.0 software.The first carrier to get the Palm Pre 2 is SFR in France. This will be followed by Verizon and a carrier in Canada over In the coming months.
