Samsung has created memory for smartphones. that’s increased bandwidth which in turn, allows more data to pass through. The new memory has an 8 times increase over the regular DDR memory used in smartphones.

Samsung increased the number of pins on the chip from 32 to 512.To achieve this bump in performance, Regular memory functions at about 1.6 GB/s in terms of transfer. The new memory from Samsung will now be capable of 12.8 GB/s.

It has a wider bandwidth, that allow more data transferred at once, Samsung has also managed to make the chips more energy efficient and they actually use 87 percent less consumption compared to others.

we assume Samsung will use them in the Galaxy range of smartphones/tablets and we also could suggest Apple who is a large user of flash memory.
