Blackberry Deadline Extended In India

Indian Government has extended the deadline given to BlackBerry by Two Months.BlackBerry users can now breathe easy,Government of India giving Research In Motion two more months to allow encryption of its data by the Indian Security agencies. Relince India Mobile currently provided solutions that will be tested by the Indian security agencies in this two month period. But by the end of deadline the company is expected to install local server to have its full services continue beyond November.Indian government has also decided to issue notices to services like Google, Skype, and MSN Hotmail to allow their data to be encrypted by the Indian Security Agencies.

Taking a cue from what has happened, popular handset producer, Nokia has announced the setting up of a server in India to allow security agencies to scan through encrypted email and messaging services accessible in a readable format in order to prevent misuse.
