Google Voice App Supports iPad and iPod touch

Now iPad or iPod touch users can access to the Google Voice app. Before it  the Google Voice app was only available for the iPhone.

This time the all new app is compatible with the iPad and iPod. but all features are not available this time like as the ability to make voice calls as described below…

You can use it to make Google Voice calls with your phones. We call this feature Click2Call. Google Voice will call your phone and then connect your call.

It’s just a shame it doesn’t work as a hands free device that you can sit on your desk while speaking.

The app such as push notifications that switch off your default GVoice alerts so you don’t get double messages about the same thing. Also a do not disturb function has been added as well as a few message management options. Overall, quite handy and available now via the iTunes store.
