Google’s Android overtook is long-time market leader, and the Nokia’s Symbian is the most popular smartphone platform in the fourth quarter, it is said on Monday by research firm Canalys.

All of smartphone makers sold a total of 32.9 million Android phones in the last quarter of the year,

and it is compared with Symbian’s total sales of 31 million in the quarter, the researcher said.
