Google has updated Google Docs Viewer. and now include 12 more file types in Google Docs Viewer.

it allow you to read documents found in emails without downloading the attachments, or at least thats one way to use it. Rather than cluttering your harddrive with a bunch of documents you have downloaded. Once verified as safe and correct, you can download if needed.

The 12 new file types include the following:

* Microsoft Excel (.XLS and .XLSX)
* Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 / 2010 (.PPTX)
* Apple Pages (.PAGES)
* Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
* Adobe Photoshop (.PSD)
* Autodesk AutoCad (.DXF)
* Scalable Vector Graphics (.SVG)
* PostScript (.EPS, .PS)

The above file types that could come in handy is the .PSD that allows Photo Shop work to be quickly viewed. We expect Google to carry on updating as new formats are added or older ones are updates.
