Apple Max OS X Lion Recovery Tool

Apple has launch recovery disk for Max OS X Lion. It gives users the ability to reinstall Lion, repair disks, restore from Time Machine or do a fresh install from a new hard drive that doesn’t have OS X installed.

Users had to install the update via the app store which was purchased with your Apple account and then downloaded as a 4GB file.

This Recovery App is Now available For download and is called the Lion Recovery Disk Assistant. You can find instructions and the download over on the Apple site.

you can then create a recovery disk on another medium such as a memory stick or alternate driver and if problems arise dureing the installation, you can boot from the media and recover your install as needed.

Instructions That You have To Fallow:

Open Lion Recovery Disk Assistant and follow the on screen instructions to create a Recovery HD on the external drive.

When the Lion Recovery Disk Assistant completes, the new partition will not be visible in the Finder or Disk Utility. To access the external Recovery HD, connect the drive, then restart the computer and hold the Option key. Select Recovery HD from the Startup Manager.
